Yeah, I'd also like to know what the levels are. I can imagine 1000 being "Free Wii Game".

As the community grows and more people post more and there are more topics to post in you'll probably have to raise the post levels. But I like them. Can't wait until I get 1000. lol

You're definately going to have to raise or create more ranks with Digg's article to us. So many people are going to join and try to win the contest.

Yeah maybe add something for 500. I dunno it won't matter once the site grows, though they'll have to be expanded. I'd just do it when you expand them.

i normally have 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 250, 500, 750, 1000

I like the ranks. They're good for now. But obviously the best rank you could ever hope to obtain is Official Wii-Volution Avatar Designer.  :wink:

Obviously I wouldn't want that as a title, but I will continue to think of more for the site anyway(so I can get my very own title). :wink:

MD do we ever get to a point where we have enough posts or been here long enough to make a custom title? I think that would be a good reward for people who have stayed around for a certain amount of time and posted a certain amount. Maybe like been registered for one year and has 1,000 posts? Just a way to give back to people who have been loyal to the forum?

I was thinking maybe you could just set it and it would allow us to change them ourselves when we reached that level. I know at another forum that's how it works, that the admins dont have to change it themselves. It would probably be a lot of trouble for you to change them for each person, and they would probably want to change them several times.

Actually, I think a mod changing the titles would be better. They would be just as unique, and it would mean that each member's title would be based on what they are like as a Wii-volution member.

Plus, if we got to choose then it would ruin the element of surprise. :P

Well I mean I'm talking if and when there are 1000 members or more, it will be a lot of work for MD to change everyone's custom title whenever they wanted that is after reaching the requirements. I just figured you could set the requirement and then we would be able to so that way MD doesn't have to spend his time changing people's titles.

Then he should be able to change the titles whenever he feels like doing it. I have witnessed this being done on another site, and it worked pretty well, to say the least.

I'll look into whatever mod for the forum spawn was talking about and see which method will work best.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what I was talking about. Where it intergrates into our profiles and allows us to change our titles once we've reached a certain amount of requirements.

At first glance I didnt see that it was compatible with this version of phpbb, but there's probably a port of some type for the php-nuke/nuke-evo version. Its something I'll look into for you guys. 500 sounds like a good number to allow title changes :-)
