Alright guys. It's time to improve Wii-volution and Charged Networks! Let me know what you want to see on wii-vo/crgn. We'll try and implement as many things as you list.

So gather your thoughts and start posting, I have replies to this thread on email alert.  :-D

there should be a way to remove threads from the... i dont know hopw to describe it. theres the link next to ure name that says "Show new replies to your posts". well, there needs to be a way to have the threads that you dont want to watch anymore taken off of that.

Does clicking "Mark all as read" achieve that or no?

cheats database? there are alot of them already but it would likely attract more people to the site.

i do that, but i just want them to stop showing up period. most of the time, i just want to check if someone has replied to a question that i have or something, but when i click on it, i find 3 pages that i must sift through to find the desired topic. kinda defeats the purpose.

grammar check sometime i don't even know what i am writing and sometimes i dont know what others are writing

Hum, im not sure if that exists for the forums... or any forums for that matter, outside of microsoft word. Spell check is nice though!

can you get more emotions/smileys and add them to the forms? like keep the one that are already there but add to them

Could you like add an arcade to the forums? So we can compete for high scores  :-D

no first i couldn't see the new smileys but now i can but the old ones are all clasic and i can't change them back because there is no option that lets you

Can you live with the classic ones? it took a a hour just to code the new ones in :-(

MysticGohan- see that? There is a spellcheck. Third button from the left, first button on the right. Next to 'preview'. It says 'Spell Check.' use it.

No its going to take some time... we might ditch it and create an brand new CRGN Network site for arcade gaming though... it all depends ;-)

Geeze... When I have a spare hour i'll add them :-P lol

XD all of these damn smileys are getting annoying, a suggestion would be to place them in something such as the additional options tab where people can click the menu to expand it. If you want help on this let me know and I can see what I can arrange.

As for things we need I thought I would like to get everyones opinion on a shared arcade between Guild Wars Realm and WiiVo so that you guys can compete XD

I'd like to get a full post history back; it's how I replied to most of my topics. Is that ok?

Also, if there's a way you can separate your profile picture from your profile icon, that'd also be great.

I'd like to see the Arcade and Shop brought back, but that is just my opinion. Also I like the new profile feature, but I'd like to have a separate profile for the forum.

And if you decide to somehow bring that back, the Custom Profile Fields mode (it can be found at the Simple Machines website) would be great for adding friend code fields to the profile.

Your forum profile is still accessible via you community builder profile, take a look again ;-) Also your friend code is already listed in the CB profile, it would be redundancy and wouldn't fit well under each name I believe.

What is up with the invasion of smileys on Wiivolution?

I never use emoticoms because when I say something here, my emotion is obvious and that emotion is always angry. I don't need :P or :( to express that I hate the idea of a thousand different flambouyantly colored smileys.

and MB can we have a spam forum? like where you can spam you asses off but it doesn't count for post counts? i seen it other forms

No your not getting mod status lol, just use the report function :-)

A spam board is easy to create. Just go to the create a board as you would normally in SMF, and just unclick the Count Posts box and there you have it!

Anyway, may I suggest a YouTube BBC tag? Normally, the YouTube HTML doesn't like SMF, so you have to use a BBC mod. The one I use is VERY easy and you can see it in action here (http://www.wii-watch.com/forum/index.php?topic=9.0) and then get it here (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=595). (One downside: You do not have SMF 1.1.1 so you can't use the same mod I use, but you can search their site for other BBC mods.)

Actually we are running SMF 1.1.1, it's just that the copyright notice never updated for some reason nor do I care why lol. I'll check out the youtube BBC tags for you.

Do you guys really think we need a spam forum? I think it will just detract from the community and bruise some more egos.

In my opinion, I don't really mind it. Though my clan's forum downsized because the main members got sidetracked because of mostly posting in the spam board, so that could hurt this forum.

I think we'll stay away from a spam board. We already have enough of it on the regular site :-P

Besides, we do have a spam board. Its called "The Lounge," its everything off the topic of Nintendo.

I understand your idea. But I think people can't help but spam at times...after all its nature. No one is really capable of staying on topic 24/7. Thats why when you are sitting around with a bunch of friends talking, you end up from talking about how peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches are the best to that nasty stripper who had no tits, but rather sag bags if you wanted to call them anything. Anyways, what I'm getting to is that you just got to kind of place the power in the people and trust that they will do the right thing and try not to wonder off topic too much. I think a spam board would just help promote spamming. Now what we really need, board of everyone who I ticked off a some point or another. Haha....a never ending board.
