PS3's can be had, but every one wants a wii!! (And the wii can not be found!) Thank God for preorders!!!
Title: Re: Super Swing Golf Post by: Puff Daddy on January 04, 2007, 10:49:55 AM I don't know how well Wii sports is and how in-depth its golfing is. I imagine Super Swing Golf for the Wii would be more in depth and feature more chracters, clubs, caddies, courses, and etc.
I kind of imagine Super Swing Golf much like Hot Shot Golf, and since I enjoy Hot Shot I figured maybe giving Super Swing a chance as well. I never thought of Wii Sports, but that you mention it....getting Super Swing at $50 might be a bit worthless. But by the time I do get a Wii, it shouldn't be $50. So perhaps I can consider it then. Title: Re: Super Swing Golf Post by: newdad on March 21, 2007, 08:45:24 AM I realize this thread is over 3 months old, but I just wanted to say that this is one of the worst golf games I have ever played. It's not one to one for the swing, and there is no backswing. You just pull the club behind you gently to adjust the power of your shot and swing. This is like golf with the swing removed.
I hope Tiger will not be using this type of interface. I am very thankful that I rented this one before buying it!!!! Title: Re: Super Swing Golf Post by: SimpsonsJunkie on March 21, 2007, 09:44:05 AM SSG may not be perfect (especially with as much as the computer flat out cheats) but if you are looking for a 1-to-1 swing, stay away from Tiger!! It doesn't even come close to a 1-to-1! As soon as you move the controller back, the golfer goes into his full swing, just like you pressed a button! Hopefully SSG, Tiger and Wii Sports will combine their good features into something of a good game soon (I would highly recommend doing that for Outlaw Golf 3, if EA ever gets the balls to continue that franchise).
