Wii-volution

First off, im excited that you're all excited about the new features im adding to the site. I just want to let you all know a little bit about me: I goto college full time, I work close to full time (on top of paying for wii-vo hosting) I have lots of hard homework, and i try to have some type of social life on weekends. That being said, I try my best to add news, answer email, add new features, program, and advertise all at once. Wii-volution consumes my life, and I hope you all appreciate how hard I work to please you folks and understand why im slow on things.

Since i've seen alot of questions, i'll open up for a round table and answer a few off the bat:

One thing at a time, That's not a priority. It was way to buggy when it was in before and I have enough problems with things breaking on the site. When the developers of the arcade get things under control, I will bring it back.

Give me my money back from the old shop!

No, not only is your old cash not compatible, im not going to spend hours writing and testing SQL in a system I don't know to convert it over member by member. Also starting with a clean slate gives everyone a chance to collect the limited shop items. Why do you need refunded cash? If it's a stature thing, you guy's post count should be enough of a status on this site.

Future developments:
Yes im working on a cheat code component for wii-volution with plans on a saved game uploaded. This is where im focusing. So if anyone wants to help with programming let me know.

I guess it makes a bit more sense now. Maybe we don't need the arcade back after all, it was kinda bugged up and messy. At least we have the shop back!

Was the arcade any fun?  I wasn't around when it was last there.

Yeah it had some good games and it was competitive because it gave awards out. I think it drew in a few new people as well.

and sry for asking for that stuff MB i would die without this site....seeing as i wound have nothing to do..... and why don't you get some ppl on this site to help you so it will take some load off your back!

I will easily be the first to step up and help program for the cheat codes and game saves, but I'm quite a beginner on programming, and just need a little info on what needs to be done.

MeridianBlade: If I was actually able to help with either of those, what language do you use? PHP, Perl?

Once the cheat codes & game save areas of the site materialize I will be keeping up with those as much as possible.

Oh!  i can try to write reviews for the games i have and look up a bunch from magazines!
i don't know too much bout programming.  maybe some1 can teach me?!  lol

ugh, it'll suck when the Wii browser freezes on me, which > know it will!

i can also send u previews from mags, get release dates, look out for news, tell u what VC games to buy (i somehow have $80 worth... ha.  and nintendo power has quick previews of a bunch too.).

The sites done in PHP, so if you want to read up on that let me know. Also I will need people to keep the cheats upto date so that'd be great. We'll have to look into you doing reviews zrod, that'd be cool.
