well...i got mine on launch day, but it was pretty sketchy how i got it: i woke up at like 6 am to go to the nearest best buy, we get there 15 minutes prior to opening, and the lady that worked there told us to go back cause they already gave out the vouchers. after that, we went to Future Shop, where there was already a huge line.we waited there for quite a while. we met this girl, who was pretty cool, and she and her boyfriend were trying to get one. so, we chatted with her for a while, then she said that her boyfriend was at a Rogers Video (i think vancouver-only based rental shop like blockbuster) trying to get one of the few (5) systems they had. so, once future shop opened, they gave the vouchers, and me and my bro didnt get one. so, we ran like crazy to Rogers, and to our dismay, we were 5th in line, but some guy bought 2. however, my mom was at another rogers that only had 3 systems, and she was the 2nd..or so she thought, because apparently someone pre-ordered one, so she was the third in line. and that's how i got my wii!
Anyway, yea, I guess you could say we are already installing games onto our consoles. I didn't really think about it until your brought it up, though. It seems that consoles are becoming computers. UH-OH! ACCORDING TO PSYMONSTARK'S IDEA OF COMPUTERS, WE CAN'T PLAY GAMES ON THEM EXCEPT IF THEY ARE FOR FUN LITTLE ADD-ONS! *Gulps*
buddy...you take things too seriously. what im trying to say is that PC's and game consoles are 2 entirely different things. i mean, yeah, computers have games and such, but when has it become a console? computer games are fun, i agree, but computers arnt JUST about games. and isnt it going the other way? consoles turning into computers?
uhh....since when has the PC become a console? i mean, computers used to be designed for one thing, games are just like fun little add-ons. this article is some BS.
Theres enough hate around us, lets not spread it to the boards. And yes, I know the irony of this seeing as I am the one who constantly pisses people off. But I'm gonna subscribe to the"make love, not war" philosophy. I suggest you do too, especially with all the bull crap that has been going on.
and puff, up in the mountains, we have another saying: Launch ramps not missles.
