1  Nintendo Wii / Wii - General / Re: Have you had this trouble with your Wiimote? on: March 21, 2007, 04:26:38 AM
Either the batteries are dying, or your sensor is at a higher or lower level then you. I believe the sensor should always stay at eye-level.

Sometime in the future, my brother is going to mod the blue LED's on the Wii Console to stay on constantly during gameplay, but we're waiting until the Wii is more avalible incase we screw up Tongue

6  Off-Topic / The Lounge / Any ideas? on: December 06, 2006, 05:04:12 AM
I want to create a USB contraption, but I don't know what to make? I want to make somthing useful, somthing that a Desktop user and a laptop user can both use.

The catch? Only 5-volts of power can travel through USB.

My ideas?
-External speakers
-USB Powered fan
-NDS Charger (for long trips, when you only have a Laptop present)
-Heat-Pad
-LED clock
-Desk light/book light

Any ideas?

8  Nintendo Wii / Wii - General / Re: Can a Wii overheat? on: December 06, 2006, 04:56:30 AM
Well, ANYTHING can technically over-heat. Make sure you have good airflow near the fans, the Wii was designed to be on and connected 24/7, and standby only uses the motherboard and the memory, so nothing should really make it over-heat. Is it stored in a crowded place near other things, such as a DVD player or a Reciever? - Again, make sure you have good airflow Smiley

That's because you don't live Nintendo like some of us! Zelda will consume me!

That's just about the most sexual innuendo I've heard all day. O.O'

Ninnuendo- heh g-get it? it's irony.

14  Nintendo Wii / Wii - General / Re: Warning to all Wii users! on: November 28, 2006, 01:25:19 PM
I wasn't saying that I thought any of you couldn't handle the Wiimote, my intentions were to give you precautions of possible problems. It's better to be safe then sorry.

On a side note, I'm sure this only applies to plasmas. Your Wii remote will just shatter on the traditional television.. probably.
15  Nintendo Wii / Wii - General / Warning to all Wii users! on: November 27, 2006, 04:52:56 PM
Hold on to your controller! Don't trust the strap.
There's been complaints of peoples straps breaking, leading to a broken TV. Sounds like a joke, but hear me out. The more you play, the sweatier your hands get leading to loss of grip.

System not working?
Your Wii console is very picky about how you connect it. So read the directions and hook it up right!
