Wait, you said if u want to play someone from out of your region, you need the friend code...what constitutes someone being in the same region? As far as I know, I thought we needed a friend code no matter what...?
This new guitar for the Wii is definitely going to bring in even more folks to the Wii. Think about how many people bought or re-bought their PS2 in order to get in on the Guitar Hero action.
They would have to try very hard to mess up this game, seeing as it was so well made in the first place.
I agree...I grabbed the PS2 version a while back and after playing for couple hours...dropped it after hearing it's going to be released for the Wii. It's a great game, I have to admit, it can only get better on the Wii.
Has anybody purchased/rented the game and tried it out? I've been waiting for a personal review from one of the fellow wii-volution members, but couldn't find any. I have seen some of the reviews and it seems like it has gotten decent 70-80 ratings. I haven't had the chance to go out and buy the game yet, but when I do I'll definitely post my thoughts. I definitely need a good time-of-play game after Zelda. All the other games that I currently own are like quick pick-up-and-play games.
This person made the one and only solar powered Wii. He must have had a lot of time in his hands and enjoy living life outdoors. It would be pretty nice to have it to-go in your car and take it anywhere where you can spend time outside the house like a tailgate party. :mrgreen:
Anybody into Harvest Moon? I remember playing this game on Super Nintendo, and I always thought it was pretty neat. Has anyone tried the Gamecube version of it? Do you guys think this will live up to the Harvest Moon Standards? Supposedly you get to do all the farm activities using the wiimote and bunch of available new characters. Sounds quite interesting...
I've been a fan of Legend of Dragon since when I was little and I recently found out that they're making a game for the Wii. I was excited at first...but after seeing the images....I lost the hype. What do you guys think?
Finally I have beated my first Zelda game since the NES. I never finished LttP and never beat OoT. Finally, TP has been defeated.
I have to say, that the Ganon fight, was one of the most enjoyable matches I have had for a final boss fight in a very very long time. It was absolutley perfect. Zant was entertaining also. Nintendo made Ganon very dark and powerful.
Maybe it's because I never finished OoT, but I am very satisfied with Twilight Princess, well durring the drought and after godfather I'll start with VC LttP and Oot.
Anyone else as happy as I am with TP?
I have to second that...it was a long and hard fought battle...well at least compared to the other bosses in the game. I finished the game quite a long time ago...but once in a while i pop the game in to finish getting all the heart pieces...so far i have 18
I never really played the GC version of this game. I'm definitely interested in Final Fantasy series though. It does look promising...might have to rent before buying
You give it a 8-10? That would actually indicate Tiger Woods 07 to be a pretty good game. If you're sad about it, shouldn't you give a little lower rating? Other than that...thanks for your input...always good to hear some reviews from a fellow wii-owner.
Fire Emblem definitely looks pretty cool...but I'm really interested in the "Hajime No Ippo The Fighting Revolution"
After playing Wii Boxing...I really want to play a better boxing game where the wiimotes/nunchuk react a little faster. I really like the fast pace gameplay of this game.
