I was really hoping this was gonna get put up, but then I realized that the XBOX has a Contra game. Don't know if MS holds the rights, but if so, don't look for it soon... :-(
Distance is not a factor. I've got a computer upstairs, my router downstairs by the tv, and my laptop works anywhere in (or outside - I don't have a very big yard) my house.
**If you are getting a router I'd definitely follow the instructions to at least set up the basic security feature and make it a secured connection. This will HELP keep neighbors and anyone driving by (and this does happen) from connecting to your network and possibly gaining access to your computers. You are required to login to the router through a computer, but the manual in the router should have all the instructions. They're fairly cheap now, especially with rebates. Definitely get the "g" and not the 802.11b. Speed is the main difference.
Wow! I won't be getting a Wii until early next year...unless. Hello and thanks for the opportunity!
(and yes, I realize I am a "one poster" - now 2 and growing-, but I wasn't planning on getting a Wii until my son started pestering me, and I wasn't really aware of the forum until now)
id rather have the disc, if someone breaks your wii, their goes every single $50 u just bought, and with me, thats like $200 to replace the wii and like $1000 to replace the games....
If you did purchase a game through the Virtual Console, you always own it and if your console does break and you get a new one, you can just log in and download it again.
Also, I had heard, I think from Shigeru but don't quote me on the person, that they will be selling smaller Wii games that show off the controller (similiar to WiiPlay) in Japan. No word yet on the U.S.
Would be nice if they included the US in this, like with the WiiPlay. I think it's pretty cool to get a few games for $10 more.
