what about a 98? I have a 98...all it needs is a drive wipe....i can do that as soon as i get my floppy back in it...(one floppy drive...two computers)

I have a 95 that my cousin gave me and I updated it to 98...right now it have 256 ram Intel Processor Pentium III and I have no idea what the MBs or GBs are on the Hard drive.... Dont get me wrong, I am pretty good with computers.... But I am really still a novice...I really dont want to DO anything with it...just have a little fun on it...I like HTML and webdesign...I like to "impress" the old people...

Is it better/cheaper to take an old computer and update it with the newest software and hardware or should I just buy a brand new computer...?
