The day my family plays Mario Kart is the day I jump off a 2 story building, so I don't have that many good ppl around  me.

For whatever reason, because you said what you said....I want to play Mario Kart buck ass naked.

Thank you very much smashcash, but as the Czar and representative of the people, we are not willing to compromise the name that has been chosen for the chosen people of the People's Republic of Puff Daddy.

And as we say on the streets, "ride or die." So you in or you not?

WHAT?

No Jigglypuff. This ranking blows.

But in a more unbiased view, what about Solid Snake's? That final smash is the shit.

For those of you who've been anxiously awaiting the DS and Wii versions of Line Rider, know that your wait is almost over. After not hearing a single peep about the game during 2007, this year brings news that not only is the game releasing this summer, but that developers have been hard at work on the game for q. .. .

I think the Wii Fit board is going to be awesome for heaps of games. Just think, instead of moving a joystick left or right u could lean/move left or right instead to walk around in a game...it's going to be excellent and I hope developers continue to think out side the box with the options available to them.

I want to get Wii Fit. And I do want to believe its going to be something unique and fun for the Wii.

But at the same time. I can see a lack of support for this. So, while a part of me wants to run out and buy this. Another part of me wants to wait and see what else comes out for the Wii board...that way, I'm not wasting $70 or whatever on a board for one game. At least the Guitar Controller for guitar hero has continuos flow of GH games. I just don't see that happening with Wii Fit. So...I might play it safe here, and sadly...not get Wii Fit right off the bat.

The Wii was never meant to be used in rehab centers or lose weight either. But its still being used for things like that. So be telling me that Wii Fit is not for fitness, I respond with, "Why'd you name it Wii FIT then?" Wii Fit will be used to lose weight by some joe shmo. And I'm sure we'll get games on it that will be much like DDR or something and that will only help the cause.

Personally, I think the bikes kill the game. Is the name of the game not Mario Kart? It kills the originality of the very first game. Having Karts was simple and fun, and I'd rather keep it that way.

Good point. I never really thought of what a bike in Mario Kart really meant...mostly, because I wrote it off right away.

This is the thing. If the motorcycle controls completely different than the kart, then the game may have a second breathe. It might be something new and exciting. However....I get the feeling that the bike will control just like a cart and maybe if anything, be faster but easier to knock down by specials. Nothing special. I got to admit, I think Wii Fit is looking better than Mario Kart right now.
41  Wii-volution Related / Suggestions for Improvement / Obscure Title of the Week on: February 10, 2008, 10:18:45 PM
If I could find the comment button on the latest obscure title of the week - Witches, I would have commented there. But I am using Internet Explorer and I think Wiivo still doesn't completely conform to the crappy web browser. But no biggie. So here I am...

Anyways, all I wanted is more information. Just simply put at the top of the article or at the bottom, like:

Date to be released: [TBA, or the actual date]
Platform: [Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, DS, etc.]
Publisher: [Activision, Nintendo, etc.]
Rating: [E,T,etc.]

Because this is the thing about these obscure titles....and I released this after my comment on Indigo Prophecy...not too many people know about them. And these articles get me real interested in these odd games. And I wouldn't mind at least renting them or trying to get more information on them and buying them or whatever...so essentially I just want a quick outline of when it might be released and little things like that. It just helps me, an avid read of the obsure articles, keep an eye open to these titles and anticipate when they are coming out. The little example I showed above is just a sketchy idea...but its basically all I want.

Once again, thank you for these articles. I love 'em. Nearly as much as I love women.

Whoever came up with the idea of the steering wheel needs to be shot. Nintendo needs to drop the gimmick. no one cares. Its nice though that they tried to make it more than a plastic cup holder for the wiimote by adding a button or two on the back. Kudos to Nintendo. But its another unnecessary attatchment for the wiimote - just like those dumb golf clubs and baseball bats that can be attatched to the wiimote.

And also....don't know if I will get this game. Don't know why...just for some reason, not interested in it much.

Halo 3 got the same kind of reviews. Some people love it. Some...not so much.

Its a sequel. People expect a lot. Sometimes, too much. Halo 3 got that. Spiderman 3 (the movie) got that. And Super Smash Bros. Brawl is getting it. Its more of the same with some added tweeks. But in all honesty, isn't that what we wanted?

How many of us enjoyed Super Mario Bros? And what about Super Mario Bros 2? Completely different games. But what about Super Mario Bros 3 (the true sequel of the original)? Loved it.
