OK...the front page still flickers once in a while and when it finally loads, it will show the top of the page and instead of frontpage news, it will display some sort of code. I will try to copy and past it here if it happens again.

But more importantly, none of the frontpage news works. I wanted to read about the Obscure title but it loads, then it says "Internet explorer cannot open the Internet site. http://www.wii-volution.com/news/game-news/deadline-obscure-title-of-the-week.html Operation aborted."

I clicked on other news bits on the frontpage and they too will not load. Its a shame because some of the news is of high interest lately too.

This is the shit showing up on the front page:

Warning: file_get_contents(/home/wiivolut/public_html/cache/wiivolut_joom1_qcache_tables_#__modules_time) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/wiivolut/public_html/components/com_qcache/backends/file.php on line 16

Its funny that I bashed this and now its getting a prize. Not only that, but I think I bashed it about a week ago. And now a week later, it has a prize.

Well, it has not achieved the highest honor and that is the Puff Daddy Mad-Props. I still say to hell with the wireless nunchuk.

Its excessive. Plus I'm sure its more than the normal $20 for a nunchuk....which with the wiimote is $60 for one complete wii controller. I'm sure the wireless nunchuk isn't kind on the wallaet. Plus, its another AA battery you have to worry about - which means more cash. And, I'm just waiting for someone to lose it because a dog carried it off or little brother/sister decided to take it because it looked a lot like Buzz Lightyear's spaceship. And poof. One lost wireless nunchuk which costs $30 some bucks.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm right. But I just aren't buying into Nyko's nunchuk.

Yup! Thats it. Wcw vs NwO Revenge, I think it was, is considered to be the best wrestling game.

I'm not much for the new games lately. They tend to be the same thing over and over. And I see that the "new" wrestling games are seemingly taking the path of Madden. That is, that the wrestling game is essentially the same thing every year with updated roster. Now, I know Raw vs Smackdown 07 adds in that submission hold thing, but....Madden has added a few things as well, and it doesn't revolutionize the gameplay....it just makes it more complex and harder for someone (like me) who likes to be able pick up a game and play it. The games almost aren't games anymore....they're like a science.

Anyways, I still play my 1 wrestling game on the Genesis once in a great while. And like I said, Fire Pro Wrestling Returns for the PS2 for only $15 is a bargain and its a fairly good, yet challenging game.

I'm bored of this conversation.

How's 2008 going for you so far? Anything new?

I have not got any errors as of recently, but I will check since I will probably be bored this weekend.

I believe there was a time where I had suggested putting Pikmin into SSB:B in some shape or form. I know I definetly suggested them as an assist trophy at the bare minimum. So its good to see, that some other fighters are joining - including ones that may have a very unique style of fighting with.

Haha....how about we split the prize? You know...share it every other week or so...?

As you can tell, I'm a uniter...not a divider.

Who cares? As long as those games aren't going into some noob's grimmy hands. I can't complain....even if they end up in MB's personal collection because this topic doesn't get enough posts....which I think is odd....you'd think the contest would be over by now.

You check it everyday? Hope you post a little more then. We could get a few more members in here and really jump start the community.

WCW vs. nWo for 64 is said to be the best. Of course, I never owned a 64....my first Nintendo console is the Wii. So, with that said, I want to tell you that there is a new game out for only $15 that helps preserve the old school 2D wrestling sprite action. Its called "Fire Pro Wrestling Returns." So if you got the little bit of money, and really am thirsty for old school wrestling, then I suggest to try the game. Its got everything from WWE kind of wrestling to UFC, boxing, MMA fights like Pride, cage matches, and deathmatches. Plus, 300+ wrestlers and 500 slots to create wrestlers. I created my favorite - Booker T, he does the spineroonie and everything in the game.

I experienced a similar problem when trying to log on just a few minutes ago. I say, a few minutes ago, because it took that long. The front page would blink several times, reload itself over and over, and then it suddenly stopped and came to a blue page with gray text that I didn't bother reading. I saw log in/log off, and clicked on it before the page could reload itself for the 50,000th time.

I love the new look. Hopefully the bugs get ironed out as well.

Make a difference? Start now?

You mean like blowing off the old ball and chain, and picking up a new hot blonde with big "eyes" in 2008?

Sign me up. Because I already did.

What the fudge? This site got awfully fancy.....so fancy that my crappy computer running on crappy dial-up cannot handle the sheer sex appeal. I am impressed. Very impressed. But at the same time, when I go home for break (like I did for Christmas)....no wii-vo for me. So sad.....well, good to see there is a prize give-away. I'm sure people will come back. Anyways, I'm in. And back....
89  Wii-volution Related / Suggestions for Improvement / Re: Avatar/Signature Trouble on: December 13, 2007, 07:45:44 AM
-phew-

I could buy drugs from a cop easier than finding my "profile" to change my signature and avatar. And I will tell you why...

There are two profiles....one is community builder profile and the other is the profile where you can actually edit your signature and avatar. Its hard to distinguish the two and actually find what I want, when both are named, "profile." So, can we rename one? I know we can't just simply call the community builder profile, "community builder," because we have to keep in mind that it goes up in that pretty bar up top and if you try to jam that many letters in the bar...well, then everything else goes to crap. So....how about a name change? I got nothing right now....but when I do. Yeah. You'll be sure to hear from me.

Am I the only turd here?

So when the boards were updated, we lost our cute little avatars. I tried looking for it. Had a lot of trouble finding that. I think I did find it, but if I did it was a day or two ago and my finals have whiped out my memory so I can't rember. But I do remember thinking I found it. But when I tried to put one up. It didn't work. Do we need a certain type? Like jpeg or bmp.....talk to me.

And how do I change my "Machop is Metrosexual" signature? I can't manage to find that either.

Hope that all made sense. Finals is like tag teaming your favorite whore with a couple of your buddies, its mind blowing at first but great when your finished. Right now, my mind has been blown. Tomorrow, it will be great.
