The first part was the debate on the stupid name and if it really was anything or just Wii upside-down. Well, those that believed it was nothing now were proved wrong and the tradition of stupid names by Nintendo continue.

So, what does Mii do? Whats the point of creating a character and using that character to chat with others? I read the Smauel L Jackson thing...so instead of playing as Link online, I use my character...ok, sounds good...so what? Anybody know any details on this that could clarify the clouds...because I feel a little hazy. I mean sounds like a good, fun idea and all...but I don't get whats going on. So, Mii, whats up with that?

I think its just moving Nintendo and Chat to a move inviting and personal tone. I mean you could be chatting with your grandma or something. I don't know. It just comes down to the, OOOO LOOOK SHINY! Syndrome. People always want something new and special to keep themselves entertained.

Ok? So the Mii is basically a chat room for the Wii, or like an IM for the Wii? But how do you communicate though? Wii is motion sensing...motion sensing won't be able to communicate efficiently.

Be honest with me, is Nintendo being hush-hush about this as well at this moment? Because this Wii thing intrigues me, because it sounds like it could very will help support online gameplay and make things more interesting and more customizable...but at the same time it seems like its being limited, or little is known about it and even Nintendo is unsure how it will use Mii.

So what the deal?

the mii is an avatar that you create to represent you. some games such as wii sports will sport your miis body and face. in any of the wii sports games the mii you make and assign to your controller will appear in the game representing YOU. nintendos plan is to make it where you can assign a mii to your controller, go to someone elses house, load up a game on someone elses wii and bam your mii pops up on the screen. hopefully websites will feature special options such as the way alot of websites feature options exclusive to the psp and such. maybe JUST MAYBE some websites will allow certain options to use your mii on the web. imagine uploading your mii to your newgrounds.com account.....
