I thought trademarks were just universal. You didn't get them for one specific country?

Sounds right, since I remember seeing an old list of gameboy like trademarks and copyrights that I've never even seen used. I'm willing to bet MadCatz'd gobble up any unused ones and Pelican'd do the same. F--- those sh-tty 3rd party companies. Too timid to step in and make their own system, so they leech off of the people who don't want to buy official products. I loathe them with a passion.

My monsters often loathed me in Monster Rancher 2.

More importantly though, Apple was the king of computers. It was creating computers, kicking ass, and taking names. However, the only problem was that Apple wasn't coming out with programs with the computers. And that the programs needed to be written. A high-school drop out named Bill Gates came, set up shop, and wrote programs as a different company for another company's computer. Years later....Microsoft is computer king and Gates is $50 billion richer.

Microsoft was third party.

Third-parties can't be all that bad...

I don't really like the things that third party accessory makers make, just because the quality is craptacular. But third party developers of videogames, that's a mixed bag. You have some great ones, like Ubisoft and then some crappy ones like Activision.

If you look around you can usually get the first party stuff cheaper anyway, I found several gamecube controllers in Boots(A cosmetics store) for 7 pounds. And I reckon they won't use the !!M thing for a while, and then they'll bring out some game which the world is upside down or something and use it for the advertising and stuff for that.

This is much more likely than it being an instant messenger and actually a very good idea.
