I think that such a "project" is a good idea to prepare for the next year. You could expand it to CRGN Awards...

You still have time to get organized for one for the Games of 2006. Just scam some gaming magazines, such as the newest Nintendo Power and check out their game picks.

Then get some voting topics or however you wish to organize it and you are good to go.
