they could also add slight color variations imo,
like light red comapred to dark red, blue and purple butterfree?

That's a good idea. Like do a slightly more pink shade for the female Butterfree. Yeah, that would be cool.

I hope to see the inclusion of the "shiny" pokemon from Gold, Silver and Crystal as well, now that you mention it. Despite not actually finding that many of them, they were an awesome addition.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they were in Fire Red and Leaf Green, I'm not for sure though. They were so rare, I think I saw a figure it was like 1 per every 13,000 pokemon encountered. I only caught like 3 in all the games I've played. The best one was definitely a shiny blue Voltorb.

I remember the only shiny pokemon I caught besides the Gyarados... I had a pink Butterfree and a golden Noctowl... man... those two were in the show too... they stole my copy of Gold and made the show out of it!

Damn, I think I only owned the Gyarados. I guess I will have to just play my Silver version again. Tongue

Anywhooo, I think they should return in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Does anybody agree with me?

It is sort of a glitch anyway, isn't it? With the exception of the Red Gyarados, as that one was intentional.

No, each Pokemon has a shiny counterpart. If you want to see them you can look on serebii.net. They have them all.
