I think that if u already own a game thats on the VC, there should be a way to just download it for free.  Either by entering the UPC or registering it or something. 
That would be awesome and would've saved me alot of money.  I would hook up my old systems but I'm too lazy and want it all in one package thing, so much easier!!

I totally agree that we should be allowed to download games for free that we already have, seeing as I have tons of older games.

The only problem is, most of the older games didn't really have any kind of confirmation on them. This would bring about the people who are too cheap to actually purchase the game and have to find some way to get it for free when they never owned it before.

Nintendo seems to be making money of the VC sales, so I doubt they feel like changing their system to anything like that anytime soon.

I understand that people wonder why it is important to download Nintendo vc games well here is why. Not only does the games on the vc give access to tons of classic games but all the vc games play in hd. When downloaded from the vc store along with the hd-tv cable you can play all of your games in hd-tv. Making certain classic titles like super mario bros look amazing once again. And i always here but if i own it should i download it.. My answer is yes i have all of these consoles i have my super nintendo my neo geo my turbografx 16 my genesis and i own all of the consoles on the vc and most of the games. And do i download them even if i already own the console hell yes i do and i enjoy every minute of it.

Not many people got to own or play them for whatever reason they have. Pretty much every VC game I've purchased is what I have owned before but had to sell it. The only games that I have never played or owned was TurboGrafix games.  I just wish there was a demo or something to try out the games since not all the games we never played are good.

Yes, well you are paying for the convenience. Why do you think most soda is more expensive in a 20 oz. bottle than in a 2 Liter bottle? Convenience. See, you are paying the extra cash to be able to play it all on one system, not 4 or 5. I have already purchased some games that I've sold and just wanted to play again. 5 to even 10 dollars a pop doesn't rip my wallet in half and make it run away from me, so I'm fine with that. It's not like I constantly purchase these games every single week they are released.
