Has anybody purchased/rented the game and tried it out? I've been waiting for a personal review from one of the fellow wii-volution members,  but couldn't find any. I have seen some of the reviews and it seems like it has gotten decent 70-80 ratings. I haven't had the chance to go out and buy the game yet, but when I do I'll definitely post my thoughts. I definitely need a good time-of-play game after Zelda. All the other games that I  currently own are like quick pick-up-and-play games.

I own it and have progressed a little.

THe motion controlls are flawless, and really add a level of enjoyment missing from sandbox games. The graphics are decent compared to what we have seen so far on the Wii, and if you don't own a 360 or PS3 you probably won't notice anything.

Most fun so far? Throwing a hooker into on comming traffic and watching the blood fly. Bribing cops is also fun.. also the the chicken wire choking is spot on.

Something fun also about throwing people through glass windows, and actually feeling like you threw them!

I'd say pick it up!!! It showcases the Wiimote beautifully from opening doors, to the aiming reticule, and of course, the punches, chokes, executions, and smashes!

Got to spend a few hours with Godfather today and I'm impressed.  The Wiimote controls are awesome.  Definately worth picking up if you like sandbox style games.

I've been playing this game all day, and despite my anti-GTA status, I find this game quite-a-bit of fun!  The controls are without a doubt the best part: when you're choking someone and you feel their heart beating in your hands... and you really feel like you're throwing people over ledges and into traffic... it's fun!  I highly recommend it! :-D

yea i own this game...its really fun...but i beat games really fast and yea its finished for me...i think i beat it at 34 hours.

That term can mean anything.  It's on the harvest moon box because you can get married.  (So is alcohal reference because you can go to a bar).  I really don't think anyone doubts the integrity of Harvest Moon.
