I don't know why Nintendo wouldn't continue with the realistic looking graphics... Going back to cell shaded graphics wouldn't do anything for them.  Although, Zelda games aren't solely about graphics and since all of Nintendo's cell shaded Zeldas have been huge hits, I guess it wouldn't matter too much.

You think Wind Waker was a hit as far as the graphics (cell shading) goes?! I reserved it as soon I could and waited the full delay, finally getting it but the cell shading didn't really impress me. Yes it's something not everyone does, but only years after I had dusted it off to beat it again, something I would usually play again sooner. The cell on Phantom Hourglass for the DS, however, does go well for a hand held, and can't wait for the new portable Zelda.

I couldnt find that article but trust me. They proably wouldnt make it that style again, because its big here but remember its a japanesse game. and most of there games are cell shadded and cartoony. and that style of Zelda is a bigger hit in japan. Theres only a few games that are made in japan but have american Style. FF7 and thats iffy. and the resident evil games. or Bio hazard as its known in japan.

I was talking about the game itself.  Not the graphics.  I know that the cell shaded graphics weren't a huge hit.

The Wii will have its own Zelda. Firstly, (almost) every Nintendo console has had two. Secondly, they announced one long before TpWii. TP was a port, they've been working on a Zelda Wii for a while. CelShaded? dunno.
