I still have my doubts on the 3rd being on the Wii. Square wants to expand more into other consoles, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a side story just as Chain Of Memories was done on the GBA. As far as the 3rd installment having Mario and/or Nintendo characters, I think we will see Halo 3 come out on the Wii before that happens. Have you actually seen the secret ending to the KH2, so many questions unanswered to that where I can't wait too much longer.

The news of a Wii Kingdom Hearts was posted on Wii-Vo a few weeks ago, but I don't know if it was an April Fools joke.  What I heard was that it would feature Mario characters as well as standard Kingdom Hearts people.  This may just be a spin off, or a joke, but it is possible, considering Mario Hoops 3 on 3 was pretty successful.  Square Enix might be looking for another FF-Mario pairing.

It is pretty likely it's a joke, but it is a possibility none the less.

BUT they are talking about making a kingdom hearts spin-off  for the Wii which will not contain mario or any other nintendo characters....though they MIGHT put the third one on the Wii, which I personally think would be a bad move...

It was an April Fool's joke. And I know people would still love to see it. I'm not a fan of Kingdom Hearts to begin with, so to me....I could care less and rather not see a game which has established a name for itself, whore itself out, and start cashing in by including every character imagineable. Mario is a whore already, so I imagine it doesn't matter - seeing as his name is slowly going down the drain. I mean, Dance Dance Revolution with Mario? How many other games are they going to cram the fat plumber in?

I don't care if KH does come to Wii as part three of the story. Whatever. I just want a unique game to the Wii, but I doubt I will be seeing a game like that for the next year or two.

Everyone should really do some research into some kingdom heart forums, you will find some really knowledgeable stuff. Instead you see a Mushroom Kingdom picture that had the artistic skill of myself (which is bad) using KH2 artwork and automatically assume it's real and in the planning stages.
