This game is a deffinent buy! The game is very long I have just beaten chapter 5 and just those 4 stages in chapter five took me about 3 hours and so far the hole game has taken me 14 hours. (I like to do a few of the sidequests and enjoy the game). The puzzles get really complicated the further you get into the game. Just because there are no turn based battles anymore does not mean the game is short. You can go to IGN for a good review, but do not think everything in their review is true, because it isn't. I have found out that the game is harder then IGN makes it sound. If your a Mario fan, this game is surely worth $50. I will also try to get a review of this game up by the weekend if I finish the game by then. IGN also has a video review. You can check that out on Youtube. FUN GAME. :em-30:
I am going to trust you and buy it.

Tell me how it is, 'K. (I typed "'K" for a reason.) Another great platformer, too :em-30:

It's not turn absed, it's like a 2D sidescroller with a 3D twist. Definitely a buy - mad playability. I'm planning on getting the guide AFTER I beat it, next payday sometime. I'm in love with this game, seriously. Not as good as SMB3 though - too much storyline to have to run through so far - but ultimately fun regardless. Maybe it is better than SMB3, who knows? - Ryan

Too much storyline!! The comedic storyline is always a plus, even though it's a little long for a Mario game. :-) :-) :-)

I've decided to rent Paper Mario and Cooking Mama this Saturday. I've also decided to save up for a DS. I have $105 (USD) ATM.

There are many ways to beat an enemy. You can use you partners (Pixls) abilities, you can use an attack item, or you can attack with Bowsers flamethrower ir jump on them. Some enemies have spikes and you must find another way to kill them. The puzzles are crazy hard, too.

Now how on earth did you figure that out? - I did too but it's odd that some random combo opens the end up ... tricky.
There is actually a place in the level where it tells you.

Oh, I explored over and over again before turning online for an answer - I found everything that seemed important, but not that. Oh well.

I've also decided to save up for a DS.
I am thinking of a DS - seems like I have more time now on my hands everywhere. Is that Mario game on DS any good? it looked great when it released - New Super Mario Bros. I almost bought one then, but DS Lite was coming out and I didn't want to buy an obsolete design when the new one was almost out ... Then I lost interest.
