ok, when my sims was anccouced it was cleary a total animal crossing rip. look at it again. the style of the town the inside of shops looks just like animal crossing. now I hear this new tittle that some guy is making the guy who made harvest moon. and gusse what, it sounds just like animal crossing. All I heard on the new animal  crossing is a brain storm. I was exited to hear they where making a animal crossing 2 for game cube and I love the pics but it was cancled. so I just want to her some news about the acuall animal crossing for wii instead of all these rips offs.

I think they are making an Animal crossing for the Wii.  I agree that MySims looks like EA's ripoff of Animal Crossing.  They should stick to the realistic looking Sims (even though MySims does look kind of fun).

Erm... Harvest Moon has always been similar to Animal Crossing, and, if I'm correct, Harvest Moon was out first, even before the N64 original.

MySims is a Sims game. Not Animal Crossing. Sure, it may look like Animal Crossing, but I highly doubt it's going to play like Animal Crossing.

I don't see why you are so angry about it. If you don't like it, then don't buy it. There's gonna be plenty of people who buy the games, so you can't really do anything about it. Animal Crossing for Wii won't be here until 2008 or even later so I wouldn't get all jittery about the game if all you're going to see between now and a few months before launch is 3 or 4 screenshots and a video.

I hear you on the Animal Crossing's gameplay being ripped off. But with the popularity of The Sims, producers are looking at that kind of gameplay as a cash crop that hasn't been fully tapped yet. Its like Halo....various production companies have tried coming out with the a "halo killer." And even Zelda....games like Dark Cloud and various other titles try to emulate their gameplay to cash in. And its not like games that try to be like others or take that style of gameplay and put a twist to it is all that bad. Capcom's Megaman was created largely to the sucess of Nintendo's Mario.
