I could seriously care less because I have never had any problems with my wrist strap or controller falling out of my hand. I just have the "V2" straps for both of my controllers, and the "V3" just looks ugly.

I couldnt agree more with the uglyness of the V.3 I hate it. I have had a problem with one V.1....I was bowling. Almost had to say good bye to my $2000 tv  :em-7:

i have all v2, but when i had my v1 they were all fine , even after being hit in the head several times  :-P by my step son getting to into baseball

I think you should have  :em-4: <=Let that happen to your step-son.
Also I think look is sometimes more important than effectiveness. It is nice that the little slider thing finally doesnt slide on its own but it looks so ugly I dunno why it couldnt just match the other ones?
