Ghostbusters is coming to a video game console near you. Developer Terminal Reality is making the game for PC, PS3, and 360. While Red Fly Studios will make a version for the Wii, DS, and PS2.

The game has been rumored about for a year and as you can see, its no longer rumor. Gamer blog, Kotaku, has only one screenshot of the game for 360/PS3. A warning though, this screen shot is not meant for work and is extremely sexy.

In my honest opinion...I love it. I was a huge Ghostbusters fan. I even watched the crappy rejuvination of the cartoon with Extreme Ghostbusters which featured a very politically correct team of busters, with a female ghostbuster with purple hair and nose ring, a crippled rolling around a wheel chair, and some emo character of some sort. All escorted by the infamous, Slimer. Gladly, this Ghostbusters game is based on the good Ghostbusters of the 80's. The PS3/360 version, I would like to see as third-person shooter/adventure types featuring the original cast. However, with the Wii, I would like to see a first-person shooter/adventure feauturing the original cast who guide you as mentors because you are the new recruit to the ghostbusting team of NYC. But then again....all my thoughts are just a pipe dream away right now. So let's hope for the best!
