Hey people, what's up?

I haven't been on here forever, yes i admit that i didn't stick with wii-vo through the hard times, sorry, but most people didn't. I got bored because nobody was ever on.  Cry

I liked it much better when tons of people were on here all the time.
You know, when we all came on at least once a day, if not more.

When people racked up like 50 posts in a day.
When we had so many games on here that it was hard to keep up.
When it was hard to reply because somebody else did before you. (well i don't think many people had that problem, but i did cause i have dial up.  Angry )
When everybody knew eachother.
When Puff daddy scared the crap out of us and made us mad.
When stupid Wii haters joined and posted threads just to talk smack about the Wii just cause they were mad that they were stupid enough to spend tons of money on a ps3 that has no games when they could have spent just $200 on a Wii and then people bashed them so hard that they ran away crying.
When people could actually tease eachother and be sarcastic without 30 people shunning them from the wii-vo community..

Oh the good 'ol wii-vo days..
I miss them dearly..

So hows everybody's (all 4 of you) summer going?!

Well the main reason no one comes here is because its... dead.  Until, somehow, the site gets back to what it was before it went down, all of the veterans, well, don't seem to care much for the website.

Here's the good news, I've taken over as lead editor and will be kicking things into gear over the next week. What I need from everyone hears is to rough it out through this progress. We can get back to where we are. Come on a few minutes to day and participate in the forums. I know, not having 50 some people reply is tough but I know we can get it back up.

So, work with me? Things are going to be great trust me.

Well I am an editor, so I could help out with E3. I'm hoping to be off of work Tuesday (since I'm getting HD cable service installed), and the Nintendo E3 conference is at 12 P.M. EST. I'll have it playing on my TV and posting news updates for those not able to watch it themselves.

As for now, though, I'll try to post whenever I'm off work (though I may be leaving the job anyway) and such. Hope it helps out.

This is good.

It's this kind of attitude that will get us back to will where we want to be.

I will also gladly lend a hand, considering I've just been blankly pondering how to do this for quite some time.

I did three posts last night, so I hope that helps for now since I have work late and early the next two days.

A better way to compensate for being away from Wii-vo for a given time would be (and this is just a suggestion):
Type up your articles in Joomla in advance, but have another staff member publish them while spacing them out instead of 3 articles in one day.

True, but it is a lot better to get the news to everyone as soon as possible. A better way to get more articles is to have more than one member post them. I shouldn't have to have a another staff member publish them for me when, in fact, they would be online anyway and able to post newer news themselves.  Wink

While I'm all for editing, what I just realized was this is the internet. I may not be sending you my article to get featured on the front page...as a matter of fact, I never did that. I would just write my own damn article in the forum and then meridian would read it and put it on the front page if it was worth while. So...good luck trying to mainstream everything, but right now...got to let shit crap slide like a big crap avalanche.
