Wii-volution

Can someone explain to me what the counter on the front page is counting down to? What date? Because Nintendo never released the official date just of yet....so it bothers me to see there is 108 days left when Nintendo never announced the actual date....I guess you can call this a pet peeve, I'd rather call it....I don't know what I would call it, but I know the agony and pain that I suffer everyday reading the flase prophecy of the foretold Wii's arrival is much like having one of those world's strongest men that appear on ESPN in itty-bitty speedos sit on my face while my dogs gnaw on my knees and my grandmother attempts to twist my testicles off. Aw yes...I know the perfect word for that feeling.....hell. It feels like hell. So tell me....what the deal is with the counter?

And finally, I was wondering if the MODS were thinking of amping up the forums and creating more subject areas....such as when clicking on lounge, there could be general and there could be rants/raves.....that way I have an area I could post without feeling any guilt for writing the filth that I write. And another suggestion, I know I need to be more aware of whats going on with logging in, but why is the log in all the way to the right and towards the middle? Half the time its hidden, so it seems like its not a priority (of the site) to gain more members. I'd crame that log in/registration up in the upper left of the page.....even though my knowledge of coding is limited to HTML and a dusting of Java, I do know my Visual communications (aka Graphic Design, but Visual Communications makes me sound like a pimped out Bill Gates).

Glad I got that off my chest and into the forum where everyone can tell me how much I suck because I'm too much of an idiot to scroll down and see if I am indeed logged in. Well you know what I have to say to you naysayers....I'm tired, and I'm going to bed, so you can keep on complaining..because guess what? I'm asleep, and you're awake. Ha! Don't you feel ashamed of yourself.

I agree with the count down, it is not official. Why don't we count down to the day Nintendo announces the date? I thinkit is going to happen on Nintendo's Gaming Expo (or whatever they call it).

I also agree with the "wrong" placings. I have some suggestions that might make the site better to the eye (another greek phrase, hope it works! :P):

Left panel should have (in order of appearance):
Main Menu Box
User Info & User Login Box (one box)
Total Hits Box
Search Box

Right one:
G2 ImageBlock

I am not saying the site is bad, just suggesting. Also, suggestions are based on MY opinion! :)

I really am, im not doing this site for me, its for all of you guys so any suggestions you feel this site needs I will most likly do (within reason  :D )

I started laughing when I saw the site all changed around, and a giant Jigglypuff on the left hand side. Thats great. I'll let you know if tehre is anything else that bothers me. But for now, I feel like a little child on Christmas Morning.

I think the current site layout is good, I just don't like how the forum topics are at the top above the news. It makes it seem like the forums are more important.

I think it helps us a lot to know what's going on. Once again great work MeridianBlade!

What about a blog network? MetroidHunter's blog gave me the idea that some of us could have blogs to write about Nintendo (or only about Wii) and our posts to be in the first page. Something like unofficial article writters!

P.S 1: I could post a new post but I didn't. Hope I win the Wii game because of my "fair play"! :D
