Title: Wii Points
Post by: blizzy1000 on November 11, 2006, 03:26:02 PM
Is there any information about a Wii Points Card having an expiration date? Because I'd like to get my 2000 points card on launch, but wait for the January list of VC games. Would I still be able to use it after a month or so?

I might look that up when I have absolutly nothing to do.  I have compleatly NO links to ANYONE over the internet. But I'm damn good at Animal crossing games and all Mario games. So I'll look it up sometime and post when I can.

the original animal crossing was too easy to cheat in, just change the date to days where special chars appear, change the day away from that day, then change it back, and the char will be there again

As long as you put the points on your account, they should still be there.

I never cheated in my Animal Crossing towns. EVER!

I dont think Nintendo would make it that way anyway because what if youve unevenly used your wii points and you only have half as much for another virtual console game, you wouldnt be able to save up.
I have 4000 Wii points but no Wii :-D

You get the wii points card and enter in the number and it saves the points on your system. So once you've done that you dont need the card. Course you can only store so many points on the wii, I dont know how many that is yet. But you can put the points on you're wii and its tied in with your account so dont worry about expiring.

And its also really cool how once you download a VC game you can delete it and download again without paying cause that info is saved as well.

You can have unlimited Wii points.

You can have unlimited Wii points.

Nintendo had stated you can only have 10,000 points on an account at any given time.

No problem!  :-D

Anyway, Why would you put $100 on all at once anyway? Meh, maybe you want everyone VC game if you have that much on there!

Well if you were crazy enough to even want to buy 10,000+ Wii Points at once, you could easily buy the Point cards at your retailer, and then you could have as many as your little heart desires. I don't like using my credit card, so when I finally see some gamse I want, I'll just go to the store and pick up a Wii Points Card instead of buying them online through the shopping channel.

I'm not getting 10,000 Wii points! I don't see how people judge me all the time. I'm just getting a few VC games to start

I wasn't judging you... I was saying why would anyone put the maximum limit of points onto their account at any one time.

what if nintendo released a game package worth 12000 pts. for only 10000 pts.?
wouldn't that be weird?
