why dont u buy the nintendo wi fi usb adapter so that way u just connect it to ur computer and let ur wii get the wireless from there? :|

or you could buy that lan adapter...

Any LAN adapter should work. I have a really cheap one that I originally bought for my TiVo and it works just fine... So, it should work.

ya i was wondering because lots of people have been saying that you have to have nintendo lan adapter for it to work

what company? did you test it on your wii?

i personally reccomend the Nintendo Wifi Adapter...I use it and I couldn't be happier

i played online game on my computer lagged like hell when it was wireless so i dont want to take a risk

omg it doesn't work wth which company is yours from mine the one i got is d-link and it doesn't work!

Mine is a Linksys, what happens when you try to use yours?

mine is linksys also... but i have to wait til christmns for my wii... blah blah blah.... any one know if linksys works?

can you give a pic and model # plz i would like to buy the same one when i use mine it says adapter not properly inserted i tryed like 1,000,000,000 times you get my point.

it ends up saying error "50421" the adapter is not plugged in properly

I have a Linksys USB200M

so lucky that yours works mine gives me dam error anyways how did you connect it when i plug my adapter into my wii my router doesn't pick it up :-(

I plug the cat5 cable into the adapter and then I plug the USB into the Wii.

i am useing cat5e could that be the prob?

Hey, I would suggest just getting a Wifi Max. I got it the other night over at Best Buy and it works great even if you dont have Windows XP. Not only that but I was online five minutes after getting it out of the box.

No offense but the provided adaptor doesn't work and a little advice wait until the Nintendo Adapter comes out because none of the other adapters will work. Nintendo Wii currently has its own drivers built into the system for only their items or we will be getting an update when the item comes out which could be the drivers.

i suggest using the ds wifi adapter i use it and am bery pleased with how it works

well this would be neat minus one problem.

1.if you purchase the nintendo adapter you are looking at 50.00 for the adapter when for the same 50.00 you could purchase a wireless router no adapter needed

i will try to buy one in a week  :-)
