If you like it or not, its coming and most likely is going to be a big hit. Looks very interesting, and I might get it just based on the limited knowledge I know about it and these beautiful screenshots...assuming that I get a DS in the future.

I looks sweet the last pokemon game that i played was leafgreen and sapphire those were pretty sweet

I have Diamond and Pearl, the only thing is they're obvisouly the JPN versions. So I really can't give you an accurate review on the story, but for gameplay its awesome as far as a Pokemon game goes. :roll:

Does the game feel like a new game? I mean not the same-old "new" pokemon game, the only difference being new pokemon and gym trainers?

I hope I doesn't have a long delay like Ruby and Saphire in Europe if so I buy the American version on ebay. I was in America when Ruby and Saphire came out but in Belgium there was a 5 month delay  :-o . American gamecards work on European DS-systems  :-D

werent those going to connect to the wii pokemon game? I thought i heard something about that...

Yeah, in the previews of the pokemon game for the Wii, it shows the DS and a person using a sylus to chose moves. While I'm happy for DS/Wii connectivity, I don't think this pokemon game really needs it besides maybe uploading pokemon in order to fight one another or do something beyond the game like mini games with your lvl 57 yayaface vs your friends lvl 48 dingaling.

I've always loved the Pokemon games, not so much the show... or cards... or figures... or anything else. The moderately new look to this game is beautiful.

I'll also be getting PBR for the Wii, just because I want to see my DS Pokemon in 3D battling over the internet, for some reason that's always been a dream of mine since... well awhile.

P & D aren't happening Any Time Soon.

Actually, I'm pretty sure they have been confirmed for April.  They came out in Japan ages ago.

Well I wish I could get Pearl, but sadly I'm saving for a 360 and I've taken an oath (not really, but I stick to my word) to not spend anything until after I get my 360.

I know how taking an oath feels. if you deviate, you can never truly get what you want the most. But, I think you should get Diamond or Pearl.

I'm getting diamond because I think the pokemon look cooler and I like the legendary you get in it.

i know how you feel... i am saveing too but i cant stop myself from spending... there are too many game i want to try... i am going to try saving $60CDN every 3 weeks for until i have enough..

I save $40 every four weeks and once my job is back in April I'll be making a lot more. I should be able to make a good $200 every four weeks give or take. Once June comes, I'll be making that about every other week, so I should be able to get mine by the middle of June.

Anyway, I'd love to get a Pokemon Stylus for Pearl, but as I said, I can't spend anything.

about this game... the online play on this game... is it only ppl who have your friend code or you can play any random person???

This would be one of the many reasons I'm getting a 360....

I wish I could randomly battle people over Wi-Fi and be able to add them to my rivals, etc. But sadly, the head execs of Nintendo and the developers of Pokemon happened to be bashed with a rock at birth. Sad.

The 360 blows too much. It's basically an xbox with a new casing and slightly better graphics. The only game worth looking forward to is Halo III

To name a few, Gears of War, GRAW, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Crackdown, etc.

Gears of War is an awesome game. Sometimes a little bit too sporadic online. But the Xbox 360 is a huge step forward from the Xbox. The Xbox was crap, and it did a few things right towards the end of its life. But the 360 is firing on all cylinders. However, if you love RPGs...the 360 is somewhat lacking right now, but there will be sold RPGs out for it soon like Blue Dragon. My only real complaint is I don't agree with paying for games monthly in order to play online.

Yeah, I dislike the payment part. And the wireless router adapter is $100 o.O Gears of war is awesome.

Etc.? Every game you named is a piece of crap. And do I own one? No. i don't need one. I have friends who own a 360 and they all agree that it sucks. And they are pissed about Puff Daddy's point: paying a monthy fee to play games online. The 360 is a PS2 with a different controller (or an Xbox with new casing and slightly better grahics). The "exclusive" games that "Only on Xbox" or "Only on Xbox360" all really suck, with the exception of Halo.

Also, Gears of War doesn't suck. I annoyed people on it at my friends house and made them kick us out of their internet games. Also it is an alright game itself without the fun of annoying others to the point where they kick you out. I sung about cucumbers.

i read about it in the Nintendo Power mag and that also helped 2 convince me 2 buy a DS!!
i don't watch Pokemon (i am 18 fyi) but i remember the games being awesome.
i played and beat all of them up to Gold and Silver and got all the legendary Pokemon and most of the other ones, if not all!

I notice that people who do honestly hate Xbox will always defend Halo. Whys that? Because Halo isn't anything revolutionary and the single player campaign isn't fun. Online is what made Halo 2 great.

I can understand if you hate Gears of War. The one button control is hard. And the controller is like the Playstation's...and yes the graphics are better. But Microsoft nowadays isn't known to be the innovator, they usually watch what other companies do and then offer a product like it but better and without all the problems the other product had (Xbox/PS, or even Zune/iPod). If you and your friends hate Xbox so much...why did they even piss the money away to get it? Why not buy a PS2 or a PS3?
