Wii-volution

this one site 4 psp had this neat lil thing where it had the virtual representation of the system, games, and accesories to "buy" with points that u obtained from posting, playin lil casino games, site contests, or from other users (they gave em away as good will, had contests in the forums, bought custom signature pics from other users...)
We could put most of the Nintendo stuff and all Wii stuff to "buy" on this site.  U buy it, it shows on ur profile, and some show under ur user name on the side when u post.  They "cost" the normal amount.
It worked really well on that site and could help get MORE users MORE involved.
admins can also take away points 4 bad behavior, thus discouraging alot of spam! hell ya!

I think that would be a really cool idea. "I got a virtual Wii and you don't!" I would say as long as MeridianBlade is up to incorporating that into the site or not.

Please vote YES on proposition IV - The right to have a virtual Nintendo shop.

It sounds like a good idea, I wasn't around when you had one origianally, (if that is what Meridian Blade is saying).

Well yeah MeridianBlade...you may have taken away our shop, our arcade, but you will never take away our freedom!

Although I'm not sure on how much trouble that will cause you again to get it on the site. So even though I voted yes, I say it's completely up to you and any problems you run into.

Haha...I remember right when you yanked it down from the site was when I was going to commit to a mass amount of "rock" purchases. For those that don't know, rocks didn't do anything - at least to my knowldege. And they only were 5 points each. I had about 500 points or so.

that would be 100 rocks. i like math! and yes we want you to brink back the shop!

So there was origianaly a shop?  It definately should be brought back.

I took them down because they were jacking up the forums with errors, I might be able to get it more stable now though. Technically, members that were here during the shop should still have their cash in the database since I didn't drop the tables.

A few questions:  When was this first taken off the site?  Also, if this was restored, would we have credit from posts in between its removal and its replacement?

hey m-blade!  will the items have pretty pics eventually?!
and is it possible to set up a system to tell a person when, how much, and from whom $ is sent (for contests, it makes it ALOT easier to manage contests!)

Items have images now, and no I don't have time to make it tell who sends money unfortunately :-(

It does tell you who sent you money, I logged on and got a message that a random guy had sent me $3...
