Wii-volution

The Shop system is now in place for your enjoyment. Lets see how many items you can collect!

We'll be adding items as time goes on as well. Also some items will be limited and become very rare once they are bought. So you'll have to either trade or buy them off your fellow forum members to complete your collection ;-)

To deter spamming the following system will be use:

New Topics: 2 dollars + .05 cents per word*
New posts: .05 cents per word*

*Upto 5 dollars.

These rates may be adjusted over time depending on how fast you guys collect cash.

Spamming for shop cash is not healthy for the forum and no one wants to read it. Don't make this shop turn into a bad thing or it will be removed.

Haha. I'm glad to hear about the spamming rule as well as the now topic idea...however now we'll be getting longer posts that are about nothing instead of three words posts about nothing. Meh? Yeah well, all you can do is laugh. Right?

lol, thats really smart.  so, will stuff like the Wii be restocked eventually?  or will it just be the smaller stuff like games that r restocked? :|

Yea, it's a loose loose situation, but it's some type of automatic control and a bit of persuasion right?

I'll try to make it realistic, so I'll restock some consoles and items like the Wii, but maybe not others.You'll all just have to see, it will be fun! :-)

It never hurts. It looks like a lot of the members are real excited about this, so as long as it works out in the end...can't complain.

yup. and MB, i have a question: if you just make one post that says you were spamming and nothing else, does that also count as spam?

if anyones making any type of topic or post that is irrelevant or only for cash, then that's spam. The shop is a bonus for participation, not useless post :-P

I was wondering if I'm blind and can't find an easier way to the shop/bank link, but the only way I can access it or the only way I know how to access it is by finding one of my posts and then clicking "view inventory." I was just wondering if there was an easier way or if that was the only way and if that is the only way, can you make a link in your profile that will take you to the shop/bank?

Already fixed, I just added the Shop button to the top menu on the forums :-)

I'm think this was a better idea to incorporate into the site first rather than the arcade. Although many would still enjoy the arcade, this way more members can participate.

btw, what are the videogame systems for? i hav a rock and im uber uber uber uber bored with it...sooooooo i want to kno...

ps when are you gonna put back the arcade? and when you do can u put back the same high scores cuz i dont wanna work on getting the high score on castle defender again...
