Title: should glitches in original games be kept in vc games? Post by: starlitalpha on February 20, 2007, 01:40:24 AM the poll is self explanatory. personally i feel that the glitch is part of the original game and by taking it out you arent being faithfull to the original games. the only way i could see a glitch being fixed would be maybe the stutter in the original kirbys adventure. they actually fixed it for the wii's vc but im talking more of a gameplay glitch in the poll above.

Post by: GAMECUBE5000 on February 21, 2007, 01:36:54 AM I say yes because nintendo said that"they ware not going to change any of the gameplay at all" but in a way it was a thing they said because the Xbox360 change the game play in most of there oldf game so in the end yes keep them so we no that we have them and they work!!!!!!!!!! :em-9: :em-9: :em-9: :em-9:
Title: Re: should glitches in original games be kept in vc games? Post by: starlitalpha on February 21, 2007, 09:48:43 AM i agree as far as the funny glitches go. on a couple of their games theyve released however they have fixed some glitches such as screen jumpyness and just a few not so good things like that. personally in double dragon... the only reason i want to play it is to lodge myself on the wall or going to the last battle and getting the super glitched out weapon.
Title: Re: should glitches in original games be kept in vc games? Post by: Balisong on February 24, 2007, 03:35:07 PM It's really up in the air. As a huge retro gamer and still keeping my games since I was 10, if I want the originals, I've got the originals.
Some glitches are just classic though, I would definetely like some framerate enhancements and smoother gameplay though too. Classic games are classic games and I respect that, and won't complain if that's all they ever do, I'm just saying I would prefer some "polish" to these old school games. Title: Re: should glitches in original games be kept in vc games? Post by: Wiirulez on February 26, 2007, 05:03:09 PM I voted no, because I think that ruins the original game. :-D
Title: Re: should glitches in original games be kept in vc games? Post by: Wiiadict on February 26, 2007, 05:52:52 PM They should be kept, unless they damage the file irreparably. There are a lot of cults that sprung up around Ocarina, with everything from speed running to uber challenges, that revolve around the glitches and bugs that the origanal had. Can anyone confirm whether or not these have been patched for the VC version of Ocarina?
Title: Re: should glitches in original games be kept in vc games? Post by: starlitalpha on February 27, 2007, 12:16:19 AM so far i found a few of the glitches were still in there. btw super mario brothers on the vc does still have the minus world. the guy who claimed there was a whole new crapload of levels to it though is still full of bs.
Title: Re: should glitches in original games be kept in vc games? Post by: ZRod on March 09, 2007, 12:31:03 AM 1) how do u get 2 the SM minus world?
and 2) i dont think Nintendo or ne1 is stupid enough 2 keep damaging glitches in a game Title: Re: should glitches in original games be kept in vc games? Post by: tabletpc on March 09, 2007, 09:48:32 AM i say no not only has this produced lag issues in games and issues with the console it drives you nuts when you are trying to play mario 64 and mario slows to a crawl
