oh, well when you get a wi-fi game make sure you post your friend code. Maybe Wii-Vo could hold a Wi-Fi tournament kind of thing, and play for Wii-Vo money.

Here's all the WiFi games that I know of:

Mario Kart DS
Metroid Prime Hunters
Clubhouse Games
Diddy Kong Racing
Tetris DS
Animal Crossing: Wild World
Starfox Command
Castlevania: Portrait Of Ruin (small/limited 2player boss battling)
Pro Evolution Soccer 2007

blizzy1000, I really like your idea on having a WiFi tournament to compete for Wii-vo money. We need to start coming up with some concrete ideas for this and I'm in.

It's either a hit or miss liking the game, IMO. I guess the best way to put it, is Animal Crossing is similar to The Sims.

You're able to own a house, pay off the mortgage, add-ons to your house, do misc. jobs for money, fishing tournaments, make friends, customize your town planting various plants/trees. There's really tons of activities to do in the game, and definitely not a linear game, telling you go here-do this-return-repeat. You get to do whatever you want to do on your own time, like I decided to help out the Museum to help my town attract more people to move in.

I just started playing the game not too long ago, and I still have yet to play this online with someone else, so I really can't answer that question. Blizzy1000 or Elecom could help you out though.

1 more question... do you have to have someone else's Friend code to play with them???

Well here's the thing. I'm not quite sure what you do with someone when you have their friend code since I haven't played it with anyone. I had opened up my town's gate and now have some weird characters running around before I had added anyone to my list.

...Tough for me to really answer the question. My guess is NO you don't need a friend code, HOWEVER without a friend code you will interact with someone indirectly.

Hope someone else will come in here to clear up these questions.

Animal Crossing on Wi-Fi is basically the same game just theres a real person in your town with you.

Yes, you do need a friend code of someone else to go to their town, or they come to your town. It isn't possible for others to go to your town without the code.

iimawii is right, Animal Crossing is similar to The Sims. If you like The Sims, theres a good chance you'll like this game.

As for Wii-Vo Wi-Fi: We could probably have small 4 player Mario Kart tournaments (1: the game is up to 4 players  2: Any more than that might be to hard to keep track of) in which each person puts in a certain amount of Wii-Vo money to a bank (lets just say somebody trusted, maybe MBlade) whoever wins gets the Wii-Vo money! *If you use an Action Replay or other cheating device, you're out!*

Metroid could also be the same, just instead of races, it would be fights.

Animal Crossing would have absolutly no point to it for competition so I won't go into that.

Those are the only games I have with Wi-Fi so if anyone else has any ideas feel free to say them.

As well, once the Wii has Wi-Fi games, we could use that as a competition too!

K. These tournaments sound like a great idea. I'll notify M-Blade, and see if we can get something like this going--for multiple Wi-Fi Games and shop cash prizes.

The only Wi-Fi game I have is MKDS, but I still love it.  :-D
