Wii-volution

I personally am opting for a black one.

Green is pretty even tho it looks like a booger.
Silver is shiney.
Black is emo.
White is ...white.
Red looks irratated.

So yea. My vote is green. Or silver. But prolly green.
Then I add doodles on it in sharpie. XD

Silver would be the color I'd get, since I was in a dilemma between black and white... but its too metallic.
Black is sleek and sexy
White is clean...

I wish they had a dark blue or dark green, 'cause that'd be too cool... But as long as it's shiny, I'm happy. :)

Silver or white. Sure the black is nice, but my black PS2 is old and black is just a general color. The silver and white just make that blue gleam brighter.

I'm not a huge fan of Apple's color schemes.  I also wasn't a fan of all the different funky colors that the N64 and GC came in.  I'll stick with black (the blue LEDs will be a nice complement).

Hm... I never looked at it that way. I have a black Nintendo 64. But it's missing one element: SHINY-NESS. I think a shiny black is better than a dull, not shiny black. But you do have a good point, the white does make the blue light brighter and it's a different color for once... Agh, now I'm in a dilemma all over again. I'll probably end up getting silver caue its both black and white combined...

This is funny.  We're deciding on which color based on amount of bling.  Hmmm....that black one is shiny but maybe the white/silver one will be shinier.  Next thing ya know they will release a solid gold Wii-skin so we can really have a cool Wii.  :D

A solid gold Wii would make my life. Actually, a sapphire one would. Or an obsidian. I'm going to work at Nintendo just so I can see those colors on the Wii now.  :P

I was thinking about putting some 34s on the side. Of course, they got to be Daytons. And pehaps a full hydraulic system. The amp and bass system is not optional, its mandatory. You got to keep it rollin' low. It's all about how low you can go, and how high you can bounce that low ridin' wii machine.

I am going for a silver or a white (because it is the "original")...

I just really hope they make a darker green!

if they do go through with the 'promo' colors, itll remind me of the LE n64's, the forest green, smoke, fire, etc.

id like a white 1 or a black 1 but not sure :( black looks better imo but ill prolly buy a couple white controllers

It's between Black and Silver for me.

I'm most likely going with black. I planned this back in the middle of the GC's generation when I had a purple GC and all different color controllers and I didn't like it. So I decided I was going to get a single color from that day forth for all my electronics and it would be black. I have a black SP and iPod Nano. I plan on getting a black DS Lite and a black Wii.

Well, us Brits got the black DS Lite before America, so hopefully we will get the black Wii too. Although, I'll probably just stick with the originally-coloured Wii either way.

I want to get a red one or a turquoise one but if they don't come out I guess I'll get a white one. I was thinking of swapping the nunchuck bit with a mate, so I have a bi-colour controller, would that work?

Yeah, I heard black and white was it too. But it's surprising since when they revealed on those pics they purposely did different colors to be unique but now they aren't going to do it. If I hadn't of moved and still lived in my old house with my lime green room I would have been all over that lime green Wii. I just really hope they make matching controllers.

I would show you the image of all the different colored ones that they showed at E3 two years ago but I'm having trouble finding it. They had white, black, lime green, red, and maybe on other color.

I doubt platinum/silver will be available at launch. They always save that color for later on to use in a special.

I think if I get white, I'm going to put blue pinstripes on it. Silver is meh, red is all right so is blue, the green is a no-no unless you like looking at a pile of crap.

Like I said before, the white and the black make that blue light pop. That shit is what's good. The black is old for me. I have a PS2 which in America comes in one color (unless modified/customized). So to hell with black, but I know the abuse this thing might have to withstand and white might show scratches easier. Thus.....maybe white and black may be wrong for me. I was thinking going with the red, but my room is green....I'll look like christmas if I do that, but I love red? Maybe some blue pinstripes on that....aw to hell with it. Go with the white. It's sexy.

I'm going to go with black. I'm going to get all my systems in black from now on to match. BubyDudy flip a coin heads black tails white, and if it lands on say tails and you feel inside like man I wish it had landed on heads or if you want to flip again you know you really want black.

Yea the first batch of consoles will be white for sure. I bet around Christmas they will have other colors though.

That disapoints me alot, but I can't be picky if I want one on launch day.
My friend loves Nintendo, however somehow doesn't know the Wii will be available the 19th. So hopefully it will stay that way until other colors come out, then if I just can't stand white I'll buy a silver one and sell the white one to him.

white because it matches the controllers that will be most stocked.

Nintendo is going with a single color until at least after christmas.  That way, they won't have to worry about some colors being more in-demand then others.

i want black but chances are its not coming out till Q2 07 and ill be stuck with white :(

I like mine white and purty. :] I have painted some though for people. I've painted a green one, two black ones, a red one, and some custom designs on others, as well as some Wii Remotes. Hello easy money. :D

if there was only 1 in stock, then who cares. but i would want the normal color.

I think i would go with black. The white will probably pick up marks and smears too easily and start to look bad after a while. I like the sleek black look. i also like the silver and green too.
