Wii-volution

 I just bought a new wireless sensor bar from nyko and it doesnt work at all  :em-16: i tried all the trouble shooting methods the manual said , checked the sensitivity and changed it to all settings, double checked the batterys and nothing worked. the only reason i bought it is because my mom vacumed my room while I was at a friends house and she snapped it into TWO PIECES :em-19: im wondering whether to send it through nintendo and get a new one . plz help me out here!

Idk if Nintendo will fix that cause its not their fault and Nyko might give u a replacement or refund.  Did u at least make ur mom pay 4 it?!  lol
So, they (idk who and it prob wont b out 4 awhile) are making wireless inputs for the tv and power cords!!  woot!!  I heart wireless!!!

I did make my mom pay for it . the wierd part about the wireless bar is you dont put anything on your wii you just turn it on and the wii supposedly gets a signal and you start playing like nothing happened. very strange . maybe it does the same thing as the wifi hook up?

The wii sensor bar is nothing  but two LEDs that help the wiimote position itself in 3d-space and all your doing when you plug it into the wii is giving it a small power source. All movements are translated wirelessly through the Wiimote. You could even use two candles as a sensor bar and it would work. If nyko wont replace your wireless one, you could get two small LEDs with batteries, and place it in the shell of your old broken sensor bar... that would do the trick :-)

Ummm since when can you transmit "power" through wireless waves? It would be impossible. Electricity, as of now, can't be transmitted through wireless waves.

Wireless cable inputs could be possible, but very unlikely.

What i meant was there isnt a plug like the gamecube wireless controller where you plug in  a little box whare a controler plug would be . and you can transmit power from wireless waves .look it up in popular science and they figuered out a way to do it , it just isnt on the market yet. your mom

The Wavebird??? the only thing transmitted is a wireless signal to tell which buttons are being pushed... It uses batteries, not transmitted power...

NO i meant you plug the wavebird in to the gc but new adapters are being made for phones and stuff that transmit radio waves into power that it can run on. sorry bou dat. hey if someone gets a wireless bar that works, can you mail it to me plz!!! :em-29:

Do us a favor and post a link to whatever the hell you're talking about.  Electromagnetic Waves (Radio, X-rays, visual light, ect) can't transmit electricity.  I guess something like a modified solar panel might work for longer waves, but that wouldn't produce anywhere near enough power to do anything with.  Post a link to a reputable source about this, please.
