Title: Elite Four Post by: Xigger on May 13, 2007, 01:27:01 AM I jsut beat the Elite Four, and I must say it is much harder than the last Elite Fours I've seen. Maybe because the trainers aren't limited to one same pokemon type. Also maybe cause my pokemon were level 45.... that made the whole thing pretty hard. Although I did have a mew, which made it much easier. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I got Diamond.... whoops. So what are your thoughts on Diamond and Pearls Elite Four?

Title: Re: Elite Four Post by: Greg on May 13, 2007, 10:41:35 AM I dont have the game I am wondering if I should get it
Title: Re: Elite Four Post by: Littlelink on May 13, 2007, 10:46:28 AM Get the game. I think its good (except for the stupid gts glitch), thats why I have over 100 hours. (that and the fact that my ds is on when i do my homework, go out, and sometimes while im at school.
Title: Re: Elite Four Post by: Greg on May 13, 2007, 10:47:43 AM Okay I will probably buy it except for the fact the graphics suck
Title: Re: Elite Four Post by: Littlelink on May 13, 2007, 10:50:42 AM The graphics are better then the other games. And the cutscene is alright. Which game would you get.
Title: Re: Elite Four Post by: Wiirulez on May 13, 2007, 05:40:05 PM The Elite 4 this round was A LOT harder than the other ones. While my friend was chasing Mesprit, I was busy beefing up my Pokemon so that they were all 50's. I just beat it today, and completed my Sinnoh Dex. I migrated The 3 Regi's, Jirachi, Deoxys, and Latias today.
Title: Re: Elite Four Post by: SuperTongue on May 14, 2007, 04:12:12 PM Okay I will probably buy it except for the fact the graphics suck The graphics don't suck. Have you been hit with a rock on the head? They are high-end 2D graphics with some 3D features added to it. The game looks much greater than most 2D games and improves upon that with the 3D features on buildings and trees. Title: Re: Elite Four Post by: Greg on May 14, 2007, 04:14:41 PM well I am saying that because 2d games graphics all suck no offense to pokemon but yah the elite four are much harder
Title: Re: Elite Four Post by: Alkemystical on May 14, 2007, 05:49:09 PM Yeah, the Elite four was a lot harder. But I beat them with my Pokemon at Level 50.
Title: Re: Elite Four Post by: Wiirulez on May 14, 2007, 06:57:01 PM Same. My strongest at that time was lv 55 Dialga. Now its probably my lv 100 Deoxys.
Title: Re: Elite Four Post by: Wiiadict on May 15, 2007, 04:08:09 PM Everyone I have talked to has said it is easy. The Elite Four have pokemon up to level 66, and I know 4 people who did it with a team of level 50s. I spent about 4 hours on Mesprit so I haven't tried them myself, but it shouldn't be all that hard for my team.
Infernape, lvl 47 Empoleon, lvl 47 Torterra, lvl 47 Staraptor, lvl 47 Luxray, lvl 47 Dialga, lvl 47 Title: Re: Elite Four Post by: Wiirulez on May 15, 2007, 04:29:00 PM Everyone I have talked to has said it is easy. NO. Thats a false statement. Youve talked to me In real life and you know it wasn't an easy task. If you think your team is so perfect, go in there with out any hp, status, PP, or battle stat restorations. You do that, beat it. Then tell me its not easy. Title: Re: Elite Four Post by: Wiiadict on May 15, 2007, 07:47:10 PM Well, that makes 4 said it is easy, 1 who says it isn't. Maybe it was only hard for you because you hadn't trained a good team.
Title: Re: Elite Four Post by: Wiirulez on May 15, 2007, 10:07:03 PM My Team was a great team, and so was youknowwho's. So dont even come to me telling me it was easy. You havent even done it yet. Beat it without any restoration items and then tell me its easy, like I said before.
Title: Re: Elite Four Post by: iimawii™ on May 16, 2007, 06:49:59 PM Wow I'm a little, okay really lost on this whole Elite Four ordeal. The last Pokemon game I played, besides Pokemon Snap, was GBA Pokemon Blue/Red/Yellow which I had the yellow pickachu edition. I only have the first badge...obviously way behind since I work way too much.
Here's my current Pokemon (I'm bad, favoring one Pokemon at a time) Monferno lv.26 Shinx lv. 10 Kricketot lv. 9 Bidoof lv. 4 (yeah he only tags along for now to smash rocks) Total Play Time - 3:28 Pokemon past Mew/Mewtwo I'm still clueless on. I guess I'm not in that bad of shape having only played it for that 3 hours straight and just messing around trying to catch myself a Onyx (even with a master ball I have yet to catch one :| ) I know whenever I get to a certain boss my Pokemon will be at a much higher lv. that I won't have to rely on all 6 Pokemon to get me through it. I'm sure that a lv. 26 Monferno Vs. the first gym leader in anyones eyes was a high enough lv. Even though fire was weak against rock, I was too high to be stopped. |
