Title: SSBB Demo Post by: XLS on October 12, 2007, 06:20:36 PM So to everyone who doesn't know, long story short:
Smash delayed, demo made, demo only playable at E for All. So,naturally,a lot of people aren't going to be able to play,so I'm asking everyone here who sees this message,to sign the petition here for the public release of the SSBB demo. http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/SSBBDemo/signatures Title: Re:SSBB Demo Post by: SuperTongue on October 12, 2007, 10:18:20 PM Well, you could have purchased tickets to E for All awhile back. So you had your chance, even if you didn't know it or not.
So don't petition something when you could have easily went to E for All in the first place. Title: Re:SSBB Demo Post by: XLS on October 12, 2007, 11:28:43 PM SuperTongue wrote:

But I couldn't have gone easily.Me along with a lot of other people had school,or work,or just lived really far away from it. But meh,I guess it is Nintendo's decision,so just disregard this if you must. Title: Re:SSBB Demo Post by: Wiirulez on October 12, 2007, 11:58:43 PM SuperTongue wrote:

Is the reason your being so negative because your so disappointed about the WiFi? I dont really care about leaderboards or any of that crap. Its just extra development Nintendo would have to go through, and its just not worth it. Title: Re:SSBB Demo Post by: Puff Daddy on October 13, 2007, 04:55:06 AM In reply to everyone above:
I'm dissapointed with Wifi. If you're making a game, you should make it the best you can. And if your game has already high standards and even higher expectations, then it is even more important to preform your best and if not your best - then better than your best. Super Smash Brothers: Brawl has those expectations and the Wifi should be better. Hopefully, they will send an update via Wii and correct their shortcomings. As for a petition...I'm all for it. But I doubt we'll ever to actually play a Brawl demo. Title: Re:SSBB Demo Post by: Wiirulez on October 13, 2007, 10:00:48 PM The petition is a great idea, however, it is probably unlikely that Nintendo will ever see it. I, taking this into mind, sent a direct email to Nintendo asking them. That would probably be the best way to ask for the demo.
Email Nintendo (http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/webform.jsp) Template (with most text copied from the petition): Please consider making the Super Smash Bros. Brawl playable demo that you unveiled at E for All available to everyone in the United States. A demo would be the most ideal and perfect way to entertain and gain fans in this long waiting period. There are three main ways to distribute the demo: 1. Shop Channel: the wii could be used to download the demo (for Wii points of course) 2. Nintendo Online Store: you could charge a small fee and sell the Demo discs online. 3. Nintendo Power: All subscribing members would get the disc in the November/December edition of Nintendo Power! This would be the most ideal way. Members pay a fee for their subscription and this would be a perk for their support plus Nintendo Power's Sales would SKYROCKET. Thank you for taking this into consideration. Title: Re:SSBB Demo Post by: XLS on October 13, 2007, 10:08:21 PM Wiirulez wrote:

Actually, the main forum this started at,we had about 10-20 people send these kinds of e-mails,so as to possibly get them to realize how many people want it,which is strengthened by the petition which is going to be sent in the second wave of mail. |
