But wow. Okami was totally awesome except the lame fighting (brutally easy and routine.) But yes, it was totally beautiful... The fact that he's complaining about the GRAPHICS of all things pisses me off.
I liked Wind Waker. I hated Wind-Waker's graphics. I loved Okami's graphics. When I tell people these 3 things, they get confused, but I really did like Wind Waker. It's a good gaming experience, but when I think Zelda, it's not the game I piece it with. Because of the graphical style it doesn't quite feel like an actual Zelda game to me, so Okami's visuals were appealing to me.
As for which sold better - uhm... who cares? Madden and NCAA Football outsell almost anything on the market today, and drive good devs out of business (Like Clover, who made Okami, Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2, and God Hand, some amazing games that no one notices at all.) There are lots of dumb people in the world, who cares what they buy. Let the companies worry about how much money it rakes in, cause that's where it matters.
What grinds my gears up most is that this made it as "news." Can you believe it? Some guy whines and gripes and BAM, news story.
Remember this is the April edition. Don't be surprised if next month you find out that this was all just an April's Fool joke.
That's what my money is on. Once again, I can't believe this is news. And something about using Nintendo characters and Disney characters and Square characters makes me think the game would feel "crowded" anyway.
And Live2Follow - You haven't boycotted EGM already?
Is your Wii damaged at all? Did you mess around with it while you were downloading them? I have Super Mario Bros, Mario Kart 64, and Kirby, and haven't had problems (outside certain quirks of emulation.)
The ghost data thing in Mario Kart 64 is a flaw. They warn you before download that you can't do that since they were lazy about the programming. Another problem with this VC game is if you play VS with 3 people on MooMoo Farm, the gamespeed increases about twice as fast.
Download time isn't a Wii problem, it usually an internet connection problem. Keep in mind N64 games are huge compared to the other VC games, especially OOT. I don't have and haven't played the VC OOT, so I don't know if the graphics are that bad, but the fact that Gamecube controllers aren't supported seems weird. Really, really weird.
I've had no problems with Kirby or Super Mario, try deleting the games and re-downloading them (you won't be charged again)
