The Wii is supposed to be for the casual, Nintendo has made that clear. But have they thrown hardcore gamers under the bus in the process of creating an "everybody" game console?
I was also one of the lucky few who got mine the day it came out. Unfortunately, I waited 40 hours in line to get mine, because in my area, people had been lining up for the PS3 since that Tuesday, so I didn't want to miss my chance. But it was well worth it.
You waited a whole work weeks worth of hours to get a Wii. That's dedication.
Funny, I was going to go and wait, had the money, just didn't. Lost interest for awhile but the chance came up to get one so I went for it. Worth the wait.
$50 just sounds like a decent number to me. Not that it's a good price. It's all speculation at this point. I'm really hoping they don't redo the wiimote all together. That would mean buying all new wiimotes, yikes.
There are a lot of old thread and they need to be cleaned up. In the next day or so I'm going to be trimming posts older than three or four months. I'm making a notice so you can feel free to find anything of interest to continue discussion. Not all threads will be deleted, just old and useless ones.
Sounds good, if you're going to post I'd prefer it be on a scheduled basis. I am happy you want to help but something more steady would be greatly appreciated.
Agreed. It's nice to see them improving on their product but why didn't the have this feature in the beginning? I would much rather see more third party games--good one mind you--instead of one more attachment.
