yeah, i hope that it's not TOO easy to master. and remember, you can make you're own character, fatalaty etc.. so that should be pretty interesting. after the last MK game (shaolin monks), i was a bit put off by the MK series, but this one looks good, because of the awesome line of characters as well as new stuff.
Agreed. Actually, I think that it could come with a whole new set of challenges. I mean, hitting a button combo is one thing. But matching movements with timing with buttons could be another. Either way, we shall see!
...until you discover that every move can be done by a simply twist of the wrist and then it will feel repetative and way too easy.
That's a great observation. I can totally see how MK fans would/could be displeased by the watering-down of the game. It'll be interesting to see how the new control scheme tries to keep the the same level of play--maybe even raise it.
Okay. I've never been a big Mortal Kombat fan. I don't dislike the game, I just never got into it. I have my copy reserved, however, mainly because I'm super intrigued by the MK Wii control scheme. From what you've heard/read/watched, what are your thoughts on Mortal Kombat: Armageddon? Are you a purist that hates the fact that the controls will be different? Have you never thought of playing MK until now? All observations, thoughts, rants, and diatribes are welcome.
Orisinal was one of CNN's top websites in 2005... Dozens of free Web-based games, gorgeously designed and relatively simple to play, which is perfect for non-gamers looking for an engaging way to waste time. Choices are presented as icons on the home page (no names, no explanations) but this only heightens the joy of discovery. Keep spiders off your cake, protect dragonflies from rhinoceros beetles, toss tiny umbrellas to baby birds as they fall out of their nest—all you need is your mouse and maybe your arrow keys to maneuver. For more silly diversions, try Little Fluffy Industries, which is part blog, part portal: editors review and link to new online games every day.
I've enjoyed these little online Flash games for a while now but it just got better with the Wiimote in high def. Let me know what you think. Especially if you've got one of those huge HD TVs. The Orisinal game called "Apple Season" is a personal favorite. (It's the one with an apple for an icon. Lower left.)
Lastly, do you have any other recommendations for where to point Wii's browser to?
