I updated this morning in the US and was able to spin the globe. It's more fun than a weather channel should be.

I dislike this channel. The main reason why is because it doesn't allow you to enter a ZIP code, or any kind of address information. It's stupid how you must pick a location "nearest" to you. In my area, all of the available cities are having totally different weather than what I am. I really hope Nintendo updates within the next month to allow me to use a ZIP code feature, similar to mostly all weather websites.

Now don't get me wrong, I love the new look and feel of the channel, but it just doesn't satisfy what I wanted it to do. As of now, you can't view the temperature, etc. from the actual channel menu. You must click the channel to view it. Nintendo really needs to add that ZIP code feature because I am sure I am not the only one who does not live near an area where the weather is near-exactly the same.

I just think that they could have made it a little more detailed, like Google Earth or something.  I really do believe that there is enough power to actually be able to zoom right to your house.  THAT would be pretty cool.

Oh, and it really scared the hell out of me when I got home because the blue light on my Wii was glowing very eerily.  Little did I know it was a message about the weather channel.  :roll:
