people wont read it and they still ask questions that are on it in the forums, plus its more fun to discuss it if its an oppion oriented one

I dunno, I think it's okay. People will probably still post threads about stuff sort of like whats in the FAQ but that's okay.

I think a FAQ(or Q+A) section is a pretty a good idea, as it wouldn't matter how many one line questions people ask on there. Obviously, one could still ask a question in the forums, but it is much better for some random n00b not to create an entire thread just to ask a one lined question, don't you think.

Yeah, but how many will look at it? It's sort of like having an introduction thread, there is one so that every newbie won't make a new thread to introduce themselves, but some don't find it and will still do it. Even if it's just accidental. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, just pointing that while it may keep most of those type of one line question threads at bay it won't get rid of them.

It should hopefully decrease the chances(or lower the rate) of it happening here, though.

Yeah, and it probably would, just not completely. But even still getting rid of some is still better than none. So I'm for it.

Well, you didn't really persuade me. I thought it was an okay idea from the start. But if you really want too you can say you did. lol

Come on, I got you to believe that it is better than just "ok". Admit it.

Yep, you sure did.
Though I think it's a good idea like Spawn I still think that some topics are better to be discussed on the forum. It just depends on the topic.

Yeah, it all depends on what the question is and whether it is actually thread worthy.

I vote for a forum thread and a main site section where Q+A from the forum thread are taken and organized...

I think that could work, and we take the most popular or most asked questions and just put them in there. That way we know what people most frequently ask.
