the wii is already pretty sleek and sexy and the smallest outta the 3, its only because sony makes such big beefy consoles that later they have to make a new, smaller version so people can put the console on a console, not the floor.

Yeah, thick as three dvd cases and slightly longer. Nintendo rereleases smaller versions with it's handhelds but I can't imagine them ever releasing a smaller Wii.

those are handhelds not consoles, the only rerelease nintendo does is new colors

Before I begin protecting the PS2 and Sony, lets answer why Nintendo will not come out with a smaller Wii....

Wii is only 3 DVD cases stacked ontop of one another. Just barely enough room to fit the CD in to play the game.

As for big-beefy PS2...the original PS2 came with a large open space in the back, because Sony had not yet developed the HDD which is used for online gaming, or much like Xbox's internal harddrive, able to save games there -- instead of stupid Memory Cards (which by the way, Memory Cards have to be the biggest blunder of video gaming). That is why the original PS2 tends to be so thick...when they sliced it down, they just took out the empty space and the fan in the back (since the PSX overheated, a fan was placed in the original PS2) and figured out a different a way to keep it cool. The slim PS2 just eliminated the original flaws in the original PS2....making it better. And to call it bulky when you have the fat, plump big ugly Xbox, pushing outwardsn with its giant craptacular X logo?

MS did research and found out that the Xbox (which curved outwards) appeared unfriendly, bulky, and ugly. And overall, no one would want it to be in their living room. That is why the Xbox 360's appearance is the exact opposite of the Xbox....the 360 curves in, is a off-white color, and even its touch seems softer than the big, black plastic of the Xbox. They did this in order to try to make the Xbox 360 friendlier and for people to feel compelled to put it in their living room and to be not ashamed of its appearance. Plus, putting it in the living room where people will see it is like free publicity since the living room is (most likely) the most used room in the house.

We can't forget about the Tardo controllers that originally came with the XBox... everytime  you use one of those, God kills a kitten.
