Hello,

I have the Opera browser on my Wii but sometimes when I download a video from youtube or any other website the download keeps stopping and starting. This is really starting to PISS ME OFF! This doesn't happen all the time. Other times the videos download fine, no stops or pauses, nice and fast. I receive over 5mbps from my ISP and I using a Buffalo high power turbo G wireless router, so I shouldn't be having any problems with downloads.

It is because the amount of traffic my ISP has to deal with, peak times for example? Is it the amount of downloads youtube or other websites are dealing with at peak times. Is it wireless technology can be unstable (but my wireless router is next to my Wii) or is it the flash media player that comes with the Opera browser?

Please can you help.

This happens to me sometimes too. When I watch a video on YouTube, sometimes it stops and shows the "Watch Again" screen, even though the video hasn't played completely through. My guess it's just a software flaw and you'll either have to wait until a update that patches it, or you'll have to wait until the final version of the Opera Browser, which should have all the problems fixed. Go to this web address: http://my.opera.com/community/wii and their should be a link some where for you to leave comments about bugs or glitches. The page should look like this: You'll have to go to that address from your Wii browser, or you'll just get this message asking you to use your Wii Opera Browser to access this page.

Hello Alkemystical,

Thanks for the reply. It's good to hear it's not just me, although I can understand how annoying it is for anyone else. I have already e-mailed Opera about a few things that are wrong with their/wii browser. On Sunday I had unplug then plug my Wii in again about 5 TIMES because the Wii/Wii keyboard kept crashing while I was using the browser.

Ever since I got my Wii I hadn't had ANY trouble with it until I downloaded this stupid browser. But as you say, hopefully the "full version" of the browser will run smooth.

Cheers,
