CUSTOMIZATION!! to tell the truth there really wasnt a clear cut goal. you basically move to a new town with no money (called bells in this game) a friendly and conniving raccoon ends up hooking you up with a house and leaves you with a loan debt. after doing some penny jobs in the town youre free to explore. wanna go fishing? buy a rod and go fishing! wanna dig up fossils to fill out the museum? feel free to do so! personally i focused on getting my house as large as possible, collected all manner of game related items (such as a replica of the arwing, or the master sword in its stone) then decorated my house thusly. you can make patterns for your clothes such as drawings and pics, and everything is really dynamic. everything you do has an effect on the game. plant a coconut and a tree pops up sometime later which will eventually grow more coconuts, put a pattern on display and watch as some of your neighbors change clothes, possibly even to your displayed pattern if they like it..... attend birthday parties, festivals, all kinds of things can be done in this game! its a real cerebral game at times though and if you dont like the sims or something similar you may not like this game. no you dont have to send your character to the bathroom. either waaaay, its one of those that doesnt have a clearcut goal..... you simply play it the way you want to. its kinda refreshing since nearly every game has you doing something pretty linear and its fun to have something that you decide what to do every now and then.

Which game? One game that I had the hardest time looking for because it had been discontinued was Lost In Blue. Their coming out with Lost In Blue 2 in late March.

dont go crazy. its not impossible to find it new, heck we have one new where i work. just because somethings been discontinued doesnt mean it will never come out again. heck trauma center and pheonix wright were both discontinued and recontinued. i think both of those titles are discontinued as of this moment. just keep looking and you can find it, and dont be afraid to buy it used.

True starlitalpha, but as far as Lost In Blue goes I've only been able to find 1 copy in a long time, maybe 6 months. That game just isn't a well known as your Advanced Wars, Phoenix Wright, Trauma Centre.... :em-8:

Used games are cheaper, most of them work too, the only used game i ever bought that didn't work was Kingdom Hearts for the PS2 so we traded that one in for one that worked, but if i can't find a used, i get it new. My dad is the excact opposite, he buys stuff as cheap as possible.
Anyways, I'm still stuck on AW: DS lol, I've used EVERY method of help and I still lose...crappy eh?

yeah, halfway through advance wars i lose interest because it turns into you doing the one single solution to the level. its not so much skill needed to beat the level but you doing things just as the developers intended. good game nonetheless
