 Who could have guessed!? This year's, according to EA, 20th anniversary edition of the Madden series, otherwise known as Madden NFL 09, will be released on August 12th.Once again, the game will be developed by Orlando-based EA Tiburon, which also makes EA's NCAA games. Included in this announcement is also that NFL Head Coach 09 will be released on the same day as Madden NFL 09. How? Well, again in today's anouncement, there will be a 20th Anniversary Edition of Madden NFL 09. But if you are a Wii fan of the Madden series and wish to get the 20th Anniversary Edition, you're out of luck. As of now, the special edition will only be available on the PS3 and Xbox 360, for $89.99. Either way, look for Madden NFL 09 and Madden's 20th Anniversary Edition on sale on August 12th!
