As stated before, it's not possible... Unless you have a modchip equipped with this capability. (0) Comments

Simple! A working game code is made up of 4 characters that identify it.  The directory structure that you'll find on the SD card is as follows:

SDCARD:\\private\wii\title\GAME\data.bin

You just need to replace
"GAME" with the correct code for each game to figure out what your looking for and those codes are easy to decipher.

Game Identifiers:
1st letter = System (R = Wii)
2nd letter = Game Name (Z for Zelda)
3rd letter = Game Name (D for Zelda)
4th letter = Language (E = English)

Example: RZDE would be a Zelda save.

Region Identifiers:
E - USA
J - Japan
P - PAL Region

Saved games from PAL only work on PAL Wiis, USA saves only work on USA Wiis, and so on...

The directory structure for Wii games needs to be replicated perfectly for a save game to work and be recognized on the SD card. This entails browsing to the SD card and zipping up the entire directory "SDCARD:\\private\wii\title\GAME\data.bin" and uploading it on Wii-volution.

Zipping the file:
XP and Vista: right click on the directory > send to > Compressed (zip) Folder. This will create a zip file with all your saves. Next, it is crucial that you open your newly created zip and delete all your saved games that arent related to the one your uploading. Finally, browse to the saved game section and click Submit Save.

How do I transfer a save I downloaded to my Wii?

Wii-volution to SD:

After you download your save the format will either be a data.bin or zipped up. If you get just a data.bin, place it in it's corresponding directory on your SD card "SDCARD:\\private\wii\title\GAME\data.bin". If it's zipped, simply extract it to your SD card and your new save should fall into place.

 SD to Wii:

Fire up your Wii and browse to the following: Wii Options > Data Management > Save Data > Wii > SD find the save you want and click copy. That should do it!

From the main menu: Wii Options > Data Management > Save Data > Wii

You'll see a list of your saves and from there click copy. Make sure your SD card is inserted before you do this.

Any SD card will do and do not need a Nintendo brand SD card. Check out TigerDirect's SD card listing for some low prices. Make sure you have some type of SD card reader for your PC as well. (0) Comments
